In the afternoon of August 29, Unit 1 of the 2×35 MW ultra‑high‑temperature and ultra‑high‑pressure gas‑fired power generation EPC project for Hebei Anfeng Delong Foundry Co., Ltd., undertaken by MCC Huatian, achieved successful first‑time rolling and grid‑connection. The unit runs stably overall, with all performance indicators complying with design specifications, contract requirements and technical agreements. The milestone fully demonstrates MCC Huatian’s technical strength in the gas‑fired power generation sector.
Centered on energy conservation and carbon reduction, the project realizes comprehensive power generation by utilizing surplus low‑calorific‑value gas generated from steel‑making processes. It involves the construction of two sets of 35 MW ultra‑high‑temperature and ultra‑high‑pressure gas‑fired power generation units. Once both units go fully online, the project will generate an additional 123.8 million kWh of electricity annually compared with outdated units and cut carbon‑dioxide emissions by 71,900 tons per year. It helps the steel enterprise boost operational efficiency while lowering carbon footprint, delivering practical actions toward the “dual‑carbon” goals.
The MCC Huatian project management team coordinated all participating parties with sound overall planning capabilities. The team accurately identified key quality‑control challenges across project phases, formulated scientific construction schedules, and rolled out tailor‑made special quality‑management schemes. Adopting refined management, the team optimized resource allocation, strengthened full‑process on‑site construction control, and carried out regular safety hazard inspections to consolidate foundations for project delivery. Driven by strong professionalism, all project staff worked day and night to push construction forward and guarantee on‑schedule commissioning. Their professional management and project performance have won full recognition from the client.
