MCC Huatian Completes and Grid-Connects Phase I of Integrated Source-Grid-Load-Storage Project for Gangke Track (Jiangsu)

At 12:00 on March 11, the Phase I integrated source-grid-load-storage project undertaken by MCC Huatian for Gangke Track (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. was successfully connected to the grid and commenced power generation. As MCC Huatian's inaugural project of this type, its successful operation represents a significant milestone in the company's new energy development efforts. It not only demonstrates MCC Huatian's technical expertise and commitment to social responsibility in the green energy sector but also injects strong momentum into cultivating new productive forces and advancing digital transformation.

Gangke Track (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. is the only manufacturer in China capable of producing large-pitch chains and is a key machinery processing enterprise in Suqian City. To meet its development needs, the company plans to utilize the rooftop resources of its two existing plants and three newly acquired plants to construct a distributed photovoltaic (PV) power station. It will also upgrade its power supply system and concurrently plan a 7MWh energy storage system for Phase II, aiming to establish an integrated source-grid-load-storage energy system. As a landmark PV project in the Sihong Economic Development Zone, the project has a total installed PV capacity of 4.40839 MWp. Operating under a "self-consumption with surplus fed into the grid" model, it is expected to generate an average of 4.75 million kWh annually. This will save approximately 1,400 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 3,800 tons per year, effectively lowering environmental pollution during production. Upon completion, the project will not only provide the enterprise with stable, clean electricity and generate significant economic benefits but also offer robust support for the region's efforts to increase the share of clean energy, optimize the energy structure, and achieve its "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" goals. This represents a mutually beneficial outcome, promoting the deep integration of the PV industry with ecological protection and the coordinated development of the economy, society, and environment.
