Recently, the EPC 1500m³ blast furnace renovation project at Songting Steel undertaken by MCC Huatian has achieved continuous progress. Following the successful completion of the hot blast stove baking, the blast furnace body itself commenced baking at 16:16 on January 26. This marks the successful completion of the most critical process before operation for this "steel heart," which carries the mission of the enterprise's green transformation and capacity upgrade. The project has now officially entered the final sprint towards hot commissioning, laying a solid foundation for the upcoming furnace ignition and commissioning. This achievement collectively demonstrates the comprehensive strength and high-quality execution capabilities of MCC Huatian as a national leader in metallurgical construction.

Located in Qian'an City, Tangshan, Hebei Province, the project primarily involves the renovation and upgrade of a 1500m³ blast furnace. As a key project for Songting Steel in pursuing green, low-carbon, and environmentally friendly development and accelerating industrial transformation and upgrade, its completion will assist the owner in achieving environmental rating certifications. The project holds significant importance for expanding urban development space and promoting regional employment.

Since its commencement, the project has involved extensive delineation and confirmation of the construction scope, interfaces, and content. It simultaneously faced multiple challenges including a tight schedule, widespread overlapping work areas, numerous high-risk engineering tasks, and winter construction. To achieve the overall project goals, the company attached great importance to the project, with leadership at various levels visiting the site multiple times to provide guidance. The project management team maintained high morale and firm confidence throughout. By meticulously planning schedules backwards, organizing work carefully, tackling difficulties head-on, and working tirelessly day and night, the team ultimately achieved the baking milestone within the planned node.
