This cooperation involved supplying a double-support gantry-type section steel straightener for a renovation project at ALJAZEERASTEELPRODUCTS. During the hot commissioning conducted in Oman's 35℃ high-temperature environment, the equipment operated continuously and stably, successfully completing the straightening of various high-strength profiles including angle steel and I-beams. Verified by the client's technical department, the equipment demonstrated superior performance that fully met production requirements. The hot commissioning certificate was signed immediately, reflecting high recognition from the client.
As core equipment in section production for the steel industry, the performance of a section steel straightener directly determines the straightness, surface quality, and subsequent processing accuracy of profile products, while its roll change time directly impacts production efficiency. To tackle key technical challenges, MCC Huatian established a specialized R&D team that achieved major innovations in the equipment's core structure. The team innovatively adopted an "integral combined frame + double-support straightening roll structure." The fully enclosed combined frame forms a rigid whole through locking devices, significantly reducing operational bounce. This enables the straightness error of processed products to be precisely controlled within 0.2 mm per meter—an improvement of over 60% compared to conventional industry levels—effectively resolving the industry challenge of "difficult straightening accuracy control" for large-section steel.
To enhance rolling line continuous operation efficiency, the equipment utilizes a traversing track and automatic roll change cart to achieve mechanized automation for complete straightening roll replacement. This innovation reduces traditional roll change time from 2-3 hours to 30 minutes, significantly decreasing rolling line downtime and boosting productivity. Furthermore, by consolidating expert resources for joint research, the team overcame multiple key technical difficulties including the three-section roll body separable automatic locking structure, synchronous technology for double-sided screw-down devices, and modular design of straightening rollers. The result is a double-support gantry-type section steel straightener with fully independent intellectual property rights. MCC Huatian participated in the entire equipment installation and commissioning process to ensure seamless integration with the client's existing production line.
