As the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays approach, another achievement was reported from the MCC Huatian EPC project for the 2×240m² sintering machine renovation at Qinyou Special Metal Materials Co., Ltd. At 11:08 PM on September 28, Line#1 of the project successfully completed hot commissioning, simultaneously achieving both the hot testing and production commencement goals.
The Qinyou 2×240m² sintering machine renovation project is a key upgrade initiative for Qinyou Special Metal Materials Co., Ltd. in Yangzhou City to achieve ultra-low emissions, energy savings, and emission reduction targets. The main project scope includes constructing two new 240m² strand sintering machines to replace the existing two 180m² walking-type sintering machines. Supporting systems constructed simultaneously include the sintering-cooling system, flue gas recirculation system, zero-discharge system, main electrostatic precipitator system, and pneumatic conveying system, along with technical modifications to the primary mixing system and the bypass system. It is worth noting that the project innovatively adopted MCC Huatian's self-developed steam-electric double-drive power generation technology, providing solid technical support for Qinyou Special Metal Materials Co., Ltd. in practicing green development concepts and achieving goals for cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, energy saving, and emission reduction.
Since the project's initiation, MCC Huatian has accorded it high importance, with leaders at various levels repeatedly visiting the construction site for inspection and guidance.
The project has now entered the trial production phase. Upon operational commissioning, it will assist Qinyou Special Steel in achieving ultra-low emissions and empower the transformation of the regional steel industry. MCC Huatian will continue to provide excellent service support, repaying the trust with quality service and contributing to the green and high-quality development of the steel industry.
