On May 23, MCC Huatian won the bid for 1.2 million tons/year green building materials - small and medium-sized H-beam EPC project of Shanxi Antai Sections Co., Ltd. This is another good news for MCC Huatian in the field of steel rolling, following the YKXD EPC project of capacity replacement and upgrading for Yukun Iron and Steel Group. The winning of the project further consolidated MCC Huatian's first echelon status in the "national team of metallurgical construction".

The project is to build a workshop for small and medium-sized H-beams with an annual design production capacity of 1.2 million tons, including the main building, circulating water pump house, sewage treatment facility, compressed air station, reheating furnace, denitration device, etc. The main building consists of raw material bay, heating bay, main rolling bay, roll shop, straightening and sawing bay, cooling bay, finishing bay and finished product bay. The workshop is mainly used to produce small and medium-sized H-beams, I-beams, channel steels, angles, etc.

The bidding of this project was in the midst of the raging pandemic. The bidding project team overcame one difficulty after another and rushed to the owner's site at the first time to have face-to-face communication with the owner. After nearly one month of on-site communication and contract negotiation, MCC Huatian impressed the owner with its core technical strength and sincere service attitude, and was highly recognized by the owner, and finally won the project at a reasonable price.
