On April 15, hot load test of the flue gas denitrification for the 2# sintering machine under the sintering flue gas denitrification EPC project undertaken by MCC Huatian for Longteng Special Steel came to a success on the first attempt. The project is another EPC project for ultra-low emission of sintering flue gas undertaken by MCC Huatian after a series of projects for Tongling Iron & Steel, Changjiang Steel, Sanbao Iron & Steel, Masteel, etc., once again demonstrating the strength of MCC Huatian in this field.

The project was contracted on June 11, 2021, with 3 sets of denitrification systems adopting the SCR denitrification ultra-low emission technology and the NOx emission concentration of 50 mg/Nm3.

The construction period of the project is tight, the construction site of the reconstruction project is particularly complicated, and the construction work surface is very narrow. In particular, the special period of epidemic prevention and control led to many difficulties. For example, construction materials, machinery and tools, equipment, technical personnel, commissioning personnel, etc., could not arrive at the site. However, responsibilities must be shouldered at the critical moment and efforts must be made to overcome difficulties and obstacles. Under the guidance and coordination of the Company's leadership, the project team actively organized the construction team to adjust the construction scheme according to the site situation, resolutely gave up the traditional installation scheme, and adopted the construction method of "piecewise lifting and flow process". With the joint efforts of all the participants and all the participating organizations in 5 months, hot load test of the project came to a success on the first attempt.
