In order to boost enterprises to accelerate digital transformation, establish excellent brand images for enterprises, and guide enterprises to rationally choose excellent partners and solutions in the intelligent manufacturing ecology, China Iron and Steel Association, together with China Baowu, Ansteel, Northeastern University, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Huawei, Ali and others, jointly initiated and carried out the selection campaign of intelligent manufacturing solutions in metallurgical industry in 2021, and 55 solutions were selected. Relying on key scientific and technological projects of Anhui, MCC's 181 Plan and MCC Huatian’s key subjects led by Pu Chunlei, Director of the Project Development Center of China Metallurgical Huatian Intelligent Development Department, organized and guided by Fang Shinian, Head of the Intelligent Development Department, the subject declaration team has independently designed, built and developed a data platform integrating collection, cleaning and time-space transformation around the key intelligent technologies of the production line core TMCP and the connecting process of smelting, casting and rolling. By integrating BPNN, image recognition, mode judgment and other classical metallurgical physical models, online self-detection, self-adjustment and execution stability of technological process parameters from steel biting to upper cooling bed area in bar mill project in Changjiang Steel Co., Ltd, No. 3 Rolling Mill of Yonfeng Steel, and bar mill project of Laoting Steel were achieved, and manual intervention was reduced. The solutions were spoken highly of and recommended by evaluation experts.
