Letter of Commendation from Longgang Water Project Construction and Management Center, Shenzhen City, reached MCC Huatian on 27 May, which speaks highly of MCC Huatian and other construction parties for their joint efforts in Dafen flood diversion culvert project for Buji River.

The integrated water treatment project in EPC+O mode along the Buji river is a representative water treatment project of the area. Contracted by MCC Huatian in EPC+O mode at the end of 2016, the project, which covers a total length of 12.49km river way and involves flood control, water quality improvement, and aquatic ecology restoration, was officially initiated on 14 April 2017. De-colorization of the trunk river was finished at the end of 2017, and de-colorization of the 3 branch rivers finished at the end of 2018; construction work of the rest of water ways except Dafen flood diversion culvert came to an end in May 2020; and on 6 May 2021, concreting work for the last section of open excavation upstream to the Dafen flood diversion culvert was completed, meaning that construction work all through the Dafen flood diversion culvert body was finished, and that the major work for the Buji river project was finished. Devotion and efforts of the whole project management team of MCC Huatian working on the project in the past 1000 odd days came to an successful ending.
