On May 28, the fully automatic energy-saving and environment-friendly wire rod pickling production line of Zhangjiagang Hongxing High Line Co., Ltd. of Shagang Group with an annual output of 350,000 tons designed by MCC Huatian passed the hot test successfully. This production line can fully and automatically carry out pickling and phosphating coating treatment on wire rod coils, laying a solid foundation for upgrading the product structure of the Company.

The project adopts the internationally leading, fully enclosed and automatic pickling line technology, and its three wastes are treated centrally, discharged up to standard and recycled, reaching the industry leading level in environmental protection and energy saving. With intelligent and fully automatic operation, its output greatly exceeds that of domestic peers. As the number of operating posts and personnel is greatly reduced, the tons of steel per capita in the coil pickling and phosphating production line is far ahead.

The design and construction of the project was at a time when the COVID-19 was raging. The employees of MCC Huatian overcame many difficulties, carefully designed and provided excellent service to ensure the smooth progress of the project, which was recognized by the owners.
